| Posted: 26 Jan 2020 12:31 PM PST Every lobby i've been in is 90% players staying in the garage, 5% AFK players parked somewhere outside, and the other 5% cruising and never wanting to race. I'm currently on a trophy grind to get 25 race wins online but at this rate it's going to be ridiculously hard. Every time I launch a race no one ever wants to join. It's even worse that the game is divided through a day/night cycle, breaking up the low playerbase in half. I kinda wish the game had speedlists like MW2012 so there was always something to do. Don't even know if its possible at this point but heat doesn't really capture the real car scene vibe imo, if the devs just watch a couple of videos on YouTube of what the community is really like and base story missions and environment details on that, the game would be a million times better. Personally I don't think i'm touching this game for a while now. The constant calls the player gets from Ana, Lucas, and Roshini were so annoying during the daytime when I grinded for the collectables. (Talking about living in her Camaro and going to that burger place by the joint) On top of that, the soundtrack was TERRIBLE. Tu Manera is now forever etched in my brain and I feel like stabbing my eardrums every time I hear that song. Cheers to those that managed to get Platinum on this game within 3 days. | What happened to all the Aussie cars? Posted: 26 Jan 2020 04:20 AM PST If you have played NFS: Hot Pursuit 2, you may remember driving the HSV Coupe GTS or the Ford TS50. In older games, you had the HSV SV99, the Falcon XR8, the Falcon GT and the HSV VT GTS, but they were only featured in Australian versions. That being said, we lost all Australian cars since HP2. The closest things you had were the Pontiac GTO and Vauxhall Monaro, but that's just it. There wasn't even a single Ford Falcon, which I find strange. The 2001-2006 VZ Monaro CV8 should've appeared in U2, MW, Carbon, ProStreet and World. As for the Pontiac GTO, its successor, the G8 hasn't appeared in a single NFS game, not even the Chevrolet SS. It's as if the non-Australian equivalents have stopped appearing in NFS games. I remember there was a Caprice cop car cut from Rivals. Like I said, the Falcon disappeared completely after HP2. We should've had a BA Falcon XR8 in U2 and MW, a BF Falcon in Carbon, ProStreet and World, an FG Falcon in Undercover, Shift series, World, HP2010 and The Run. Hell, the FG X Falcon would fit 2015, Payback and I think Heat, but I haven't played those three. Similarly, the VE Commodore and its US equivalent, the Pontiac G8, should've appeared in Undercover, Shift series, World, HP2010 and The Run. The VF and Chevy SS would appear in the Ghost titles, except for Rivals. Some games like Forza Horizon 3 and Juiced has Aussie cars, but not Need for Speed. What's up with that? Do the Australian divisions of Ford and GM hate EA or something? [link] [comments] | ||

As I drove away, I noticed not only the music was very quiet, but so was everything else. The car, the environment everything just got turned down. The only way to reverse it so it's back to regular sound was by hitting something at top speeds again. Not really game breaking just slightly annoying sometimes. [link] [comments] | ||

| PLEASE NERF THE COPS AND DAMAGE! Posted: 26 Jan 2020 10:31 PM PST I know have said getting away from the cops is easy , but I now regret saying that. I recently today tried to get to the last level of my crew as the leader has not done much for it. I need about 4.7 million rep to hit LV.50 , but the cops just don't shake off. After HEAT LV. 3 I start to get the Corvettes, and they rubber band so aggressively and slam into me in a way I can't . The damages they deal so much when you get even clipped by a cop, I lose nice chunks of my health when they barely even touch me. Oh and that broken of a cop helicopter doesn't shake off even when you go 200+ MPH/320+ KPM. Only way to escape them is by going at least 220+ MPH/ 355+ KPM for at least ten second or avoid their sight for ten seconds. There isn't many places where you can do that when you race. I know could just collect small amounts at a time but that would take FAR TOO MUCH TIME. Thank you for reading my rant about all the problems of night time in my experience today ,as I tried to get Crew LV.50. It's not everyone I went though today as were more annoying but I just forgot.
