Should I buy need for speed (2015) or payback? Posted: 16 Sep 2020 04:43 PM PDT I spotted a pretty good deal on the PlayStation store, both are 5 bucks and I really think I'm in need of a racing game, both options seem promising but I still can't decide. I've been a passive fan of racing games, I loved the customization and night city vibes of carbon and the face melting speed of most burnouts but I'm torn; of what I can see 2015 has less cars than payback and most people regard the customization as weaker, payback seems to be too open ended and bland from a visual perspective. I've seen reviews saying that the handling in the 2015 is inferior to payback. What are your opinions? Which game do you think I should buy? [link] [comments]

What do you think could/should be the next trophy/hero car? Posted: 16 Sep 2020 03:49 AM PDT Hero/trophy cars are basically the motive to beat the game's campaign. Oftentimes, they have something about them that makes them distinguishable from the other cars. What do you think should or shouldn't be the next hero/trophy car? I think the hero/trophy car should be something special or unique. The M3 GTR and K.S. Polestar 1 are great examples of this criteria. The M3 GTR was an actual racecar; it was used in MW05's street racing setting. It wasn't just another Skyline or Supra. It being a racecar (and not Japanese) made it distinctive from the rest of the list. The Polestar is a modern luxury hybrid that was given an outrageous bodykit (which isn't really my taste tbh). Most don't expect those kinds of cars to be anywhere in a street-racing setting (it's also a Swedish car; they generally don't get as much representation in racing games as other nationalities). What I don't want is something like an Aventador or 240sx with a bodykit. Both of these are generic and uninspiring. I also don't want some weird vaporwave concept car or an upstart's rookie creation. If EA/Criterion wants cars like these to be in the game, just make them extras. The hero car could be from a brand with history that we forgot about; Panoz, Ginetta, TVR, I even heard Spyker is finally getting their shit together. Maybe even a car that is highly anticipated like the 400z that was recently debuted. Hell, there are rumors floating around about a new NSX Type-R. That could work. Maybe continue using cars with other types of propulsion; the Gemera, Taycan, or even the Honda E. What are you thoughts? [link] [comments]
How can I play carbon today on PC? Posted: 16 Sep 2020 05:43 PM PDT I really want to replay the game and don't mind paying for it if its cheap but can't find it on steam or origin. I see some people selling the discs on ebay but will that be enough? I was under the impression that I would need a CD Key. [link] [comments]

More separate trim levels for cars in 2021/22 Posted: 16 Sep 2020 11:39 AM PDT So now that we've gotten actual optional trim levels (although they're all just cosmetic) for car customization in Heat, it gave me sort of a TDU-ish idea Criterion could use for the next game. Maybe make the trim levels for cars that have available be actual performance levels available for that car in a dealership. For example the next game could have a normal base-trim Golf GTI, but you could have a option to buy a higher trim of the car (in this case, a GTI Clubsport). This could really help make much more space for the car list to expand, and that way we wouldn't have to see all the separate trim levels of each car. I'm sure us players would truly appreciate Criterion for doing this. Let me know if you agree or disagree! [link] [comments]
