We all are still married to Josie Maran's character Mia in MW right? Posted: 25 Sep 2020 12:36 AM PDT Just checking up with the community and confirming a small part of childhood is still alive in all of us :) On a serious note MW needs a Remaster. Keep everything intact and just update the graphics and make it available on Next gen consoles and PC. And if that's just too much to ask, Don't even remaster, just make it available to PS5 (༎ຶ ෴ ༎ຶ) [link] [comments]

A simple question lads and lasses. Posted: 24 Sep 2020 01:20 PM PDT Anyone have HEAT for PS4 (I dont do the cross platform) and just wanted to see if anyone wants to cruise around...I'll race with you but do not hit me or any other actual players on purpose. Maybe we can just show off our cars to each other. My PSN is the same my username. Ciao for now. [link] [comments]
Posted: 24 Sep 2020 09:24 AM PDT Before I start I just wanna say this is purely me drawing lines and coming to conclusions but I think my reasoning is decently sound. About a month ago Microsoft announced Forza Horizon 3 was reaching its "end of life' meaning it's licenses would expire this year whether it's for the cars, music, partnerships or all three. That got me thinking, the same thing happened to Forza Motorsport 6 the year before but look at NFS, 2015 is still available digitally and it released prior and every game dating back to Undercover (2008) is available on Steam. In fact you can still buy ProStreet (2007) from Best Buy in the US (activating it is a different issue). So it got me thinking what else has EA released is available digitally that maybe shouldn't be? Let's look at Burnout Revenge, came out in 2005, same year as MW, has a licensed soundtrack and you can still buy it and play it on your Xbox One. So music licensing isn't an issue, Microsoft only adds games to backwards compatibility if all the licenses are in check. Go back to 2003 and we have SSX 3 another game with licensed music AND product placement with 7Up as well as Honda. That's right in SSX3 there's ads for the Honda Element and an actual model of it in the map. SSX (sadly) is a dead franchise, the last release was in 2012 and there's been no need or even rumours since. One of the benefits to publishers with backwards compatibility is they have to do nothing, Microsoft handles everything; I guarantee you EA did not go to Honda or 7Up and sign another deal to make the game available digitally (in 2018) they likely have rights in perpetuity. So other EA games from this era with different types of licenses are available but how can we know Underground or Most Wanted falls into the same bracket? Carbon. Carbon came out in 2006 yet was listed on the Xbox store in 2009 with ProStreet. By this time digital distribution had become popular and accepted on consoles; so publishers put some of their back catalogue on the storefronts. Why was Most Wanted omitted despite being the best selling game? Well here's my idea, when listing back catalogue EA perhaps wanted to focus on "recent games" which in this case meant the past 3 years as of 2009. Carbon was listed about a month before Shift came out and in 2010 EA listed Skate a couple months before Skate 2. Skate at that time is within that 3 year range. By making the recent games games available digitally it draws eyes to the series and thus the new games as I believe they launched at lower price points than a new game. I think, with the way EA creates their licensing contracts, cars, music, and product placement is not an issue when it comes to re releases or listing them digitally. I do realize this slightly falls apart knowing Burnout Revenge was also listed in 2009 and released in 2005 outside the 3 year range and to that I say Paradise was a hit in 2008 and Revenge was a launch title not everyone played on 360. It could be they wanted to push it in a similar manner they might have wanted to push the games post MW. I do wish I could have something more concrete for this discrepancy but I guess that's why this is a long conspiracy post. If you made it this far, thanks for reading and hope it got you thinking a little bit about this. TL;DR EA has licenses from other games way in the past and they're still available digitally - some became available recently and others years ago. [link] [comments]

NFS Carbon PS2 vs PC improvement mod Posted: 24 Sep 2020 10:39 AM PDT Comparison between PC version with a mod and PS2 version of NFS: Carbon: Let's start with the cops. They are more agressive, appearing in more races from the beginning and using their powerful tactics more frequently. Before, I could complete the career mode maintaining heat level 1, but in this version I got the heat level 3 after only a few races. I wonder how powerful police is at level 6 and higher, because 5 used to be a maximum on a console. A welcome change is 5K cash for already won races. This makes defending territories worthwhile. Races are harder which is good since the PS2 version was too easy for my taste. On the other hand, drift events are way easier and I'm not sure why, maybe the reason is higher capped clean section multiplier (it used to be max 7x). The number of competitors has also rised to 8 which makes things a little more chaotic thus interesting. Overall, there is more content from parts and cars to career and challenger series races. Traffic become a noticeable feature finally getting out of free roam to mess with racers and police. There is higher density and variance making it unpredictable and providing an additional layer of difficulty. I can no longer drive on autopilot after getting significant advantage. Collision physic seems to be more accurate/fun, it's possible to ram cars so hard they take off the ground. There is more destructible stuff on the map. Graphic difference is obviously jarring. Going from 640x480 to 1920x1080 makes a huge difference, furthermore the reflections are gorgeous and other effects are improved as well (mainly smoke). Sorry for language mistakes [link] [comments]

Heat Progress in Most Wanted 2005? Posted: 24 Sep 2020 07:14 AM PDT After completing the whole blacklist and beating Razor, I still find extremely hard to get to the highest heat levels. Rn I can increase to heat level 5 easily and sometimes level 6 if I am patient enough, but its ridiculous the amount of time to get to level 7, I haven't hit that heat level yet. Does anyone know how to increase heat levels more quickly? Note: I am playing nfs mw for the first time. [link] [comments]
I hope the next nfs title is a remaster of nfsu1 or 2, I just want to bump to get low again Posted: 24 Sep 2020 03:16 PM PDT Or riders on the storm, the games dont even need improving, just polish up the graphics and work on some of the mechanics. It will be the best remaster ever [link] [comments]
I uh...went out of bounds in Most Wanted 5-1-0. (No footage, sorry. It happened in a flash.) Posted: 24 Sep 2020 01:53 AM PDT I was battling Taz with my unexpectedly fast stock Golf, until I hit a corner aaaaand, I went out of bounds. I got respawned but I had to restart the race. Shame I forgot to take a pic of it. I was going 215 mph in the Golf at the time [link] [comments] |
