    I think being able to lose your car to another player would really add to the replay value of this game. Just hear me out! Obviously no one will be forced to race for pinks but having the option would be nice. It would make winning a race and money much more meaningful, and it would really get the blood pumping too.

    But let's not stop there. What if you don't want your adversary's car after you take them to Gapplebees? Well... What if instead of taking their car, you had the option to activate a cut scene where the loser has to watch his car taken to the junkyard and crushed into cube.

    Just brainstorming here. Racing (especially street racing) is an extremely competitive sport with high stakes, so I think Ghost / EA should just fully embrace that and make a hardcore mode. What are your thoughts?

    Something that I never see mentioned on this sub

    It's about the game's soundtrack. This post is NOT about the quality of the soundtrack, it's been discussed to death and I'm not looking to add to the circlejerk of "music bad".

    However, something that I never see addressed is why does the game only play certain songs at certain times? The Heat soundtrack has 50 something songs, and yet during a race you can only hear about the same 8 songs over and over again. During free roam you can hear another set of songs, which I would've wanted to hear during my races, but they never came on because the game is only set to play a few specific songs over and over. I don't understand why it's like this. Surely any reasonable person in charge of this part of the game's design must know that if you limit your audience to the same single digit number of songs forever, they'll get sick of it within hours, especially considering you can't possibly make any short list of songs that will appeal to EVERYONE, which is why you should've been able to hear at least most, if not all of of the songs in the game.

    I personally don't think the soundtrack is as horrible as most people here make it out to be, there's quite a few songs that I genuinely enjoy hearing, however it pisses me off that I can only listen to them when the game allows me to.

    The rep and heat level display takes up way too much space, and on top of the "RHINO INCOMING" dynamic message it's a total mess. And there needs to be options to change the size and placement of the mini map, i like to have my mini map placed as close to the corner of my screen as possible and a couple sizes smaller than it currently is. Also an option to turn off the audio pop up display symbol when characters call and talk to you, clean up the screens on the cars too because them window wiper marks are a god damn eye sore.

    ... this is where we are at.

    I wanted to play the game, but after 3 or 4 solo attempts to break my own records (not bragging, just the truth cuz of the crew I'm in) I went "rest mode" and fired up Netflix.

    Love the game, wish it had less flaws, and more content.

    What is the general consensus about NFS Payback?

    I just finished Payback today and after coming on to this sub, I've found out that you guys probably hate it? I gotta say, I enjoyed it. Although, Mac was pretty annoying and his character was so self absorbed. But, overall it was a good game. What do you guys think?

    Cutting edge racing game lacks FUNCTIONAL MULTIPLAYER gameplay

    Who thought this would work? MAYBE it would work if your servers were filled with 64 players.
    But we have 8.

    8 People, playing random events, Day or Night, So you may only have 2 available, possibly 3, the most I've seen on my server was 8.

    Out of all of my "invites" I've sent out to race, only 3 people have joined. ...3.....THREE TIMES Out of maybe 50 invites...

    I was able to actually race another human being! WOW. Its RARE.
    You can't join sessions from PS Community Games -- always errors out when trying to join server.
    So you are left wondering if ANYONE will want to actually play a multiplayer racing game in the year 2020.

    WTF? All of the other NFS titles had a WORKING Multiplayer System. You know -- Join a lobby of other racers, a list of races that everyone needs to race and BOOM you are off on a functional Multiplayer gaem

    But NFS HEAT, probably one of the best NFS titles of recent history-- Doesn't have a functional Multiplayer
    How did this make it out of concept?

    How did NO ONE, on the team say -- this is doesn't work for gameplay.

    How many of you feel like we should have a custom race creator?

    I mean like the ability to make a checkpoint race/drift/offroad/or even drag events and time trials.

    Be able to scale the event from 120-400+, populate races with corresponding AI. Not drift trials or time trials.

    Be able to set race to be available at night or day

    Rewards for races would correspond to difficulty, length and time of day.

    Created races should be available to your crew to play.

    You should be able to save your routes, maybe 5-10 savable routes so you can race them anytime after creating them.

    If there could be a way to post these races for all to play, top 5 played races,trials get added to the game permanently for all players as new races.

    I feel like this would make the game have unlimited potential for races. Ghost wouldn't have to work on new routes. The community could do it for them.

    Anyone know how to access hours played for Heat on Xbox One? I can't seem to find it, and it's not in the Stats section. Really curious to see how much I've played since I've almost no-lifed this game since release, and I still love it to this day, even though we do need that update ASAP lol

    The title says it all. I have been playing NFS Heat for the past 3 weeks and am on level 32, or was. While I was leaving the game, my power went out, due to a snowstorm yesterday. I logged on about a hour ago, and it says that all I have is the KS beginner cars, a stock Honda Civic, and my Mustang. I have 15 hundred dollars now, when I had about 400 grand, as well as level 11. This is especially frustrating because I just hit all of the billboards, and flamingos. Is their anything I can do to retrieve my files? I'm doubting their is because me being the ding-dong that I am doesn't use a backup save on a USB thumb drive.

    Empty servers in Heat
