    Help installing NFS MW 2005

    hey guys, im in need of some help. Back when I was 7 I remember playing NFS MW and it was the best game of my life. I'm looking to just relive some of those memories. But the problem is since computers aren't window xp and vista anymore it's Kinna hard to do so. I currently have a 2020 dell laptop( not sure of the specs but it runs really well with most games) and was wondering what it would take to be able to play it again. I don't have the disks anymore since I lost them when we moved to the USA. I'd appreciate all the help guys!!

    Live tuning bug

    Don't know if anyone else has had this problem but every time I tune my car in the live tuning menu it resets the second I leave the menu. If anyone knows anything plz help it's so frustrating to not even be able to drive the cars I've worked so hard for.

    Why are no Western racing games focusing on a full Japanese setting? Budget? Culture? Sega? Discussion

    Just looking at it broadly, the setting would be perfect:

    Location

    • Whatever real or fictional touge you want. No fabrication needed - the historical presence of Hakone or Irohazaka already fosters an endless environment for illegal street racing
    • Interconnected high speed expressway loop system backed by the same heritage. Wangan, C1, C2 ... all of these routes loop back upon themselves and can be changed on the fly during a race
    • Port of Tokyo, one of the largest shipping hubs in the Pacific
    • Famous car gatherings - Daikoku Futo Parking Area

    The world's largest and arguably most sophisticated urban setting, directly juxtaposed against a historical rural layout.

    Setting

    • Rich car culture acting as a prelude to modern import tuner culture

    • Diverse car culture

      • Unmodified exotics
      • Modified exotics
      • American muscle
      • Drift (amateur to Formula D)
      • Speed (amateur to tuning company demo vehicle, think Mid Night)
      • Kanjozoku (Honda Civic specific scene)
      • Dajiban (Dodge Ram van specific scene)
      • Japanese racing vehicles (Super Silhouette, Japanese Grand Touring Car, Super GT)

    • Home of JUN, Blitz, HKS, Mine's, Do-Luck ... etc

    So why are no Western developers setting their sights on Japan? Let's take a look:

    • SEGA: SEGA has a large presence in Japan through manga-based racing games, namely headliners Maximum Tune and Arcade Stage
    • Budget: Such a setting would require location scouts, technical advisors etc. if developers wanted to be as authentic as possible. Additionally, most Western-based developers are ... Western based. Japan is the farthest destination from developers in both Europe and the US, and undertaking a production on that scale would be astronomically complicated and expensive.
    • Language barrier: If you wanted any interaction as part of the narrative, it would require a multilingual cast that would put some players off
    • Too broad: All of the subcultures listed above would require their own development and selection of licensed vehicles. Some games narrow it down and focus on the overlap between some of the most prominent scenes.
    • Handling: Ideally, a sohpisticated physics-based handling model would support different driving and tuning styles required by each discipline, and be intuitive enough for consumers to pick up and play. Extremely difficult to achieve in practice

    NFS Heat Test Drive

    Am I crazy or does NFS Heat not have a test drive features? Can't decide whether to buy an RX-7 or a Honda RSX so I planned on test driving them but can't find it. Surely they didn't forget such a simple feature?

    Anyone still play NFS The Run on PC and/or PS3?

    I've gotten back into NFS: The Run since quarantine started and have really been enjoying some of the older NFS games, though I need some of the multiplayer objectives. Additionally, is it possible to get cars that have to be earned in the "______ Weekly" playlists?

    Not sure which nfs game to buy on the ps4. Payback deluxe edition is currently on special which makes it the same price as nfs 2015. They’re both about 75 aud cheaper than nfsh which puts it out of the picture. The storyline doesn’t really matter to me but handling is important. Any suggestions?

    Lost my save somehow after update..?

    Hi. Saw that there were a update in march and decided to download the update to check it out. But after I started the game, I saw that I suddenly was lvl 1, instead of 50 and my whole save was gone!? Has anyone had this happen, and perphaps have any luck in restoring their save? I even tried to download my save from the origin cloud thing, but it didnt do anything.

    In my opinion next part of NFS series should be in 1990-2005. It was the best time of street racing and I loved NFS Carbon's climate. Sorry for grammar if it's bad.
