Next NFS game needs more diverse EDM music Posted: 29 Sep 2020 03:26 PM PDT Anyone who's played NFS Heat even once will know that the overall catalog of songs, were true to the game's setting, and by no means was bad. However it's not the best either. One thing that really lacked in this was EDM. Most of the EDM songs in Heat were Dubstep (like Novocaine) and House music, and a bit of Electro, AFAIK. And most of them you could only hear at night or in the garage. This kind of disappointed me at first glance because EDM in the past Need For Speed games is one of the reasons why the soundtracks in the games are so legendary in the first place, so that got me thinking. NFS Most Wanted (2012) was filled with so many diverse types of EDM, from Dubstep and Progressive House, to Electronica and Trance music, and it's a soundtrack so many of us come back to. And I could list so many more that have been in the franchise (cough Rom Di Prisco and Saki Kaskas cough) , but it'd be too long. So, now that NFS is back in Criterion's hands, I can expect we'll see the next game will have a much more diverse EDM playlist because EA's been known for curating kick-ass soundtracks almost every single time. Below I've listed a whole bunch of EDM artists that have been in the NFS franchise before, but any of you guys can also add to the list.
(Also please don't come to me with "bUt NfS iS HIp hOP anD HeaVY mETAl THAt's whY UnDeRgRoUnD IS bESt". This is a list about EDM. See ya'll in my next post.) [link] [comments]

Posted: 29 Sep 2020 07:50 AM PDT Question - What cars do you want to be in NFS2021, it can cars that never made it to the franchise or cars that have been in the franchise but only in like one or two games and would like make a comeback? [link] [comments]
Best car around rep 25? (Heat) Posted: 29 Sep 2020 12:13 PM PDT What is the best car I can have at rep 20-25? Would like to destroy my friend. [link] [comments]
Any tips on taking on darius during the canyon race in nfs carbon? Posted: 29 Sep 2020 04:00 PM PDT So i have a whole confusing story for why i need tips. I started of with an exotic career with the hopes of ending the game with the Porsche carrera but that dream came to a halt. I switched of my game after doing a couple races in wolf's territory and then when i played the game again it somehow had me doing the tuner career with the alfa romeo. So instead of unlocking the carerra i unlocked the skyline which i bought along with the McLaren. Both maxed out. My luck I didn't realize the McLaren handles like a freaking truck and the skyline isn't fast enough for the way i play. Any way i can make some magic happen with one of these 2 cars? P.S. sorry for formatting and making this too long to read. [link] [comments]
Theory: NFS 2021 will be a mix of Heat + Burnout Paradise Posted: 29 Sep 2020 11:31 AM PDT We know full well that Criterion is back as the main developer for the series, and the recent rumors that EA has begun the motion capture of bikers for the next game has only sparked more hype around that. We also know that, during the Criterion trilogy, NFS had a lot of Burnout blood behind it, with a handling system favoring high-speed auto-drifting and the ability to takedown other drivers through spectacular crashes. Put simply, it was Burnout with licenced vehicles. So what else is left to do for the studio as a returning developer? One of their crown jewels during their golden years was Burnout Paradise, a game that was outstanding in almost all aspects and got plenty of positive reception, enough to deserve a remaster a few years back. It had many things that made it succesful: An open world, no-boundaries racing, vehicle variety and many DLCs that provided even more variety to the mix (Environments, Cop cars, Bikes, etc.) On the other hand, NFS Heat, as the gone-with-a-bang last effort from Ghost Games, defined a "formula" that, although it still wasn't that polished in many areas, helped to finally reach a point were the gimmicks and features combined well to create a solid racing experience (Deep customization, tough cops, exciting races and vehicle selection) It's only logical that Criterion will try to mix these two titles to provide the best of both worlds all rolled into one package. Two foundations with similar premises yet well received in their time. Will they get it right? Only time will tell. tl;dr Criterion scored big with Burnout Paradise, and NFS:Heat is the perfect foundation to roll both games into one. Would love to hear your opinions! [link] [comments]

Posted: 29 Sep 2020 09:23 AM PDT Hi! Trying to add some races to the challenge series list, but there is no new races even with new save. Tried to add ChallengeSeriesRace (True) field, but with no result. Another question: there are car presets ingame such as CS_CAR_15 or M3GTRCAREERSTART. Can I edit them (perfomance, vinyls etc) or make own preset to use in game events? [link] [comments]
What muscle cars should I buy? Posted: 29 Sep 2020 06:43 AM PDT Ok, so I don't own any muscle cars in nfs heat and i really want 2(1old classic and 1modern) but i can't decide who i should try. I want them to a lots of customisation and fun to drive [link] [comments]
Is there a fix for the AA on Undercover? Posted: 29 Sep 2020 03:59 AM PDT I just made Texmod work and the textures are better, but the anti-aliasing is still abysmal. I tried to override the heck out of it in NVIDIA Control Panel, but no luck. Anyone knows how to fix it? Any help is appreciated. [link] [comments]
