    The remaster seems to be basically pointless for us PC folk and the old version has very cheap steam keys available online. However said old version is not available to purchase, but a key should still work, right?

    Need for speed heat soundtrack

    Some people might oppose me but there is actually a few good songs in the soundtrack. At first when I started the game, I too thought the soundtrack was bad but now it feels like it fits well in with the environment. The songs sound awesome when you have a full surround headphones. Dont get me wrong though, There are many songs that i dont like (Espescially some bad spanish songs) but there are a few good songs (Murder Music, GOKU, Mercedes etc) as well. Let me hear what you guys think and please dont upvote me as soon as you read this as you know, people might have different opinions.

    Im playing payback as it came out for PS plus, however those green flashes everytime i win a race and the stats appear really hurt my vision with the tv i have, is there any way of disabling them or otherwise change to color to gray/black?

    While Need for Speed Most Wanted is arguably the best game of the franchise people are wrong to be asking for a remaster. They should be asking for the game to be remade.

    All of what i have to say doesn't even need to be put into a new most wanted just a game that matches it game play wise and taking these corrections into account.

    Now a remaster of whats arguably to some people the best need for speed most wanted would be totally awesome but this would cause the games original flaws to show through like some body kits being ugly and a small car list. Some parts of the game wasn't as good as it could of been which i will touch on later.

    Era

    I think a remake of this game should be set in the 2005 era because of the original game being made at that time but also so the licensing is potentially cheaper and more customization options exist. This would also create a feeling of Nostalgia which they clearly did in NFS 2019 when the BMW M3 GTR was just dropped into the game for that very reason.

    Car list

    Now al of the games already featured in the original should be in place but based of the Hot Pursuit the Mercedes Maclaren cars won't make it into the game sadly but many other iconic cars can do more than just fill in for it.

    R-32 , R-33 and R-34 should all be added to the game as they are all iconic.

    2nd gen Mitsubishi Eclipse (car made popular by Fast and the Furious)

    Maclaren F1

    Saleen S7

    Bugatti Veyron (I didn't know myself this car came out in 2005)

    BMW M5

    BMW M3

    Audi RS4

    Ford Mustang 1969

    Ford Mustang 4th gen 2004

    Honda NSX 1st gen both pre and post facelift

    Audi R8 Concept car

    The Blacklist/Story

    The blacklist works well but the bosses are pretty easy. This issue can be solved with allowing the player to set difficultly settings when they start saves. I think Rog the 16th guy on the blacklist was a missed opportunity. (View video of Rog below)

    Now it can be clearly seen Rog was intended as a protagonist at one point in time and doesn't give off the feeling of the number 16 guy on the blacklist but instead as someone who may actually be the Most Wanted with Rog saying "I'll be waiting" solidifying this. Rog from that video feels like a legit serious street racer unlike the other members like Razor pretending to be tough.

    Because of this I believe the blacklist should otherwise remain as it is but with Rog being the final boss.

    ​

    The characters

    All of the characters apart from Mia, Rog and Cross act poorly either intentionally or accidently and in general are just not good.

    Pursuits

    The Pursuits of this game are its highlight and I am yet to see such a police system to be done better.

    But it still has its issues. First off the level 1 cops are barely a threat and are very easy to lose and when you do loses them the back up timer resets. The back up timer should instead only reset at the easy difficulty otherwise the back up counter will continue to count down even when your in cool down.

    The players should also be let off with resetting if their vehicle is lifted in the air as it frustrating for players when this happens as it results in them being busted.

    Condition 6 should be reach able but only after beating the career because you would be the Most Wanted at this point.

    The helicopter is great and always added more chaos to the pursuits but it shouldn't have infinite mass because the helicopter ramming a truck into the air while funny its because it shouldn't happen.

    Music

    Outside of pursuits

    I think the Rock music itself works well when driving and the rap sort of music works well when customizing your ride. All i would personally do is add more to it.

    However this music is good to me while to other people this music is garbage. So allow for people to play their own music in the game. Perhaps even connect to a internet radio?

    ​

    Inside of pursuits

    The music is just excellent, how it dynamically changes depending on your situation is such a cool touch to it as it in theory you will always get a a unique song that fits perfectly.

    ​

    However this track does get a tiny bit repetitive and should have more added to it

    ​

    The radio com chatter is another great addition and the fact that the player can actually use it to help themselves is great too.

    Performance of vehicles

    Regular cars

    Since upgrades go all the way up to "Ultimate" in most wanted it would only make sense to look at the most powerful of these vehicles in real life too and have the ultimate upgrades match them. This will mean that you can finally have a Supra that smokes a Bugatti.

    Concept and extremely new, high performance vehicles

    Vehicles such as the Bugatti should still get powertrain upgrades but these will be make much less of a difference because better parts wouldn't really exist. So when you do a upgrade to the engine you get a race exhaust system with no catalytic converter or in the case of the Bugatti your turbo upgrade would increase power a small amount.

    Tuning

    Back in the day tuning was good enough but now player should be allowed to tune gear ratios suspension setups and aero.

    Conclusion

    Would this make the perfect need for speed? No it will not but considering people want a Most Wanted, fixing its flaws would in theory make the greatest need for speed to date.

    (NFS heat PC) Lost all my progress for the night after skipping enter garage cutscene

    I was at around 50,000 rep when I got the notification to go to the garage to save my progress because the server I was on would be shutting down. I went to the garage in less than a minute and Pressed A to skip the cutscene where it spins around your car and counts your rep, yet I didn't get any of the Rep that I earned when I loaded into the garage. Has this happened to anyone else?
