    What is the player character's purpose? How did he get superpowers? The driver is invulnerable.to physical harm. You can crash your car at 200+ mph straight to a wall, but he can walk away from the car unscathed. He can smash through almost anything and go about his business like nothing happened. He can teleport anywhere around the map, he can manipulate time however he wishes by slowing down time or going back to a previous event.

    The gas tank is infinite. You can travel throughout the whole map non-stop and never run out of gas. Speaking of traveling, have you noticed that there are no roads leading to other major cities? No pedestrians except the crowds in Underground that if you try and run over, they go through you? Only ghosts can do that.

    The player character cannot leave or die from physical harm. The opponents are condemned souls like him sent in the respective cities with the player to perpetuate the illusion that they are alive. I think that the player character died in real life, in some horrible car crash, and the opponents he faces are the people he took with him. As punishment, he was sent to drive for all eternity for our amusement, for the character is in Hell.

    My biggest gripe with Need for Speed Heat and such a waste imo.

    My biggest gripe with Heat is the Day and Night mechanics and how they could've had an Nighttime Underground illegal story and a Daytime Speedhunters Tournament Story. The Speedhunters Showdown in the gameplay trailer looked as if it was going to play a bigger role in the game but all it did was serve for a reason to have legal sanctioned races but they could've gone with so much more like we get to meet the drivers in the cars, have this whole thing feel like one big tournament and more of a reason to race. We could've met the drivers and understand why they're racing but instead we get Big Barb who drives a red Polestar and that's it. The other half of the storyline could just be what Heat's main storyline was but 90% of the time at night but with a bigger emphasis on more illegal actions other than street racing like snatching a police car and getting a shitload of police after us and having other drivers watch our back. Don't you see how much fun that would be? In the end, Heat's story is solid but with so much wasted potential and especially how Day and Night are literally the main selling points of the game.

    Has anyone else randomly had all their money disappear. Was customizing a vehicle n kept getting payment failed even with more then enough in bank. So closed game n then it showed $0 in bank

    Ever since i finished Heat, one question got to my mind...

    For who and where did Mercer smuggle all those cars in the containers ???

    And then, i came up with this...

    Remember the story of Undercover, where part of the story is taking down an international car smuggling ring in Florida ? One character and main boss of that operation - G Mac.

    The guy was a cop that went rogue, just like Mercer and did the same thing - steal cars from racers/gangs and ship them for profit !

    Former Lieutenant in the Vice branch of the Tri-City Bay Police Department

    Now, Tri City and Palm City are both based in Florida and that would be a good route for those jobs to be completed.

    Could Mercer and G Mac be connected in some way ???

    G Mac was arrested in Undercover but that was back in 2008 so he could be out by now...

    What do you think ???

    NFS Heat, Tips for getting Rep Fast

    So I've been playing NFS heat for a couple days now, gotten in a decent amount of police car pursuits, but the highest heat I've gotten is 2, and that's when I've called it quits for the night

    As for my stats so far my highest car is a 282 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport and my Rep level is 18, I have 87,963 as far as money is concerned

    Other than than tips would be greatly appreciated and maybe certain cars/upgrades would also be extremely helpful as well, Thanks a bunch!!

    Anyone have tips for getting away from the cops? - NFS HEAT

    It seems that every time I'm out at night I get a bit of rep and then a cop chases me and I get caught. It's honestly ridiculous. Even on heat level 2 it seems impossible. It's incredibly frustrating and it's somewhat ruining the game for me.

    Would anyone else like to see a need for speed rivals 2? With the same day night concept as heat, keeping base speedpoints (heat multiplier), Killswitch cops from payback and weapons. And of course, lots of cars, and in depth customization. (And engine swaps.)

    Handling in NFS heat

    So im looking to buy NFS heat and it will be my first NFS and im a big noob i did try NFS 2015 and payback from one of my friends i see that handling is really hard like i play on PS4 and if i put too much force on turning it somethimes wheelspins and i lose control of it but if don't put force it does not turn if i put medium force it is a mix from too much and less force so i wanted to know if that was improved in the latest NFS

    Need help with Needforspeed prostreet

    So Curretly I am playing the origin version on Win 10 with my GTX 970 and an i7 4790. Whenever I try to Start prostreet it crashes immediately. I tried many fixes but not a Single one worked. Does downgrading to Win 7 may help? Do you Guys have any ideas?

    Replaying old NFS games

    I decided to replay NFSU2 bc i got bored of heat... But i have to admit it really holds up even for a game thats abt 16 yrs old (i think) But finished it in 3 days... So anyone got other good recommendations?
