Tempted to get the Aston Martin Vulcan, should i? [NFS Heat] Posted: 17 Jul 2020 12:32 PM PDT i read that the Vulcan handles the best in the game, but that's it's acceleration is pretty terrible for a hypercar. is it worth the nearly 1,5 million dollars or should i save for the Pagani Huayra? (at rep lv 40, so the Koenigsegg and some story related cars not available yet) submitted by /u/Raven-UwU [link] [comments] |
Blower intakes for cars in NFS Heat? Posted: 17 Jul 2020 04:03 PM PDT Is there a way to get a blower intake that you commonly see on root superchargers, cant seem to find the option, is it not an option for certain vehicles, is it only an option for certain superchargers or something, would really enjoy having one if possible, any help is appreciated submitted by /u/Content_Axolotle [link] [comments] |
Ideas for new game Posted: 17 Jul 2020 12:10 PM PDT Before I start, I know full well EA won't use these ideas. If they do, cool, I expect nothing in return for their use. Also, most of these ideas are borrowed from other series. •car classes. For me, a big part of the fun of a racing game is driving a bunch of different cars. Separating the cars into different classes and requiring a certain class of car to compete in certain races/race series would be fun. Off the top of my head: tuner, muscle car, vintage import, super car, hyper car. Maybe even break it down further and specify AWD, RWD, FWD, hatchback, 4-door, convertible, etc. •multiple locations as opposed to one main city. To go with different locations, we could get different weather patterns. This could play into some of the specified series listed above: most of the races in a snowy city would call for AWD, but there could be one random series of muscle car races on a frozen lake or something. •this last one's a pipe dream, but I would be very interested in a Need for Speed off-road game. There could be generic off-road races like in the last two games, but they could also fold in more variety like rally, rallycross, desert racing. There could be lower-speed, more technical wooded trails (not necessarily rock crawling, but not necessarily NOT rock crawling), high-speed blasts in stadium trucks, and there's a huge variety of vehicles that could be added from new and vintage rally cars to big-ass Dakar trucks to heavily modified versions of Jeeps and pickups old and new. It would be a massive departure from what NFS currently represents, but it could be an awful lot of fun. • submitted by /u/MrRegularDick [link] [comments] |
What Could Be Done Regarding Cars and Customization For The Next NFS Title: Posted: 17 Jul 2020 03:04 PM PDT So I was thinking about what could be learned from NFS Heat so that the next game doesn't make the same mistakes as Heat did. While Heat is still a fun game, it had its flaws, and the car list did have a few issues. So here are my thoughts on what can be done about the car list: Add new cars, with diversity in mind: This is a no brainer. New cars will need to be added. Say that we would want a car list of at least 150 cars at launch, so I would hope the following new, non-variant cars would be added: Abarth 124 Spider Acura Integra Type R DC4/Honda Integra Type R DC2 (whichever one gets added, the other variant should have its parts integrated as customization options, but not as a separate car). Alfa Romeo 4C (with Zeus by Pogea Racing parts as customization options) Aston Martin DBS (2009) Aston Martin Vantage GT12 Aston Martin Vanquish S (2017) Aston Martin One-77 Audi TT RS (2017) Audi TT RS (2009) Audi RS5 Coupe (2020) Audi R8 LMX (2014) BMW M3 E36 LTW CSL BMW Z4 M Coupe (2008) Bugatti Veyron Super Sport Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ (if possible, the parts from the Divo, La Voiture Noire, and Centodieci would be integrated as customization options for the Chiron instead of being separate cars). Chevrolet Corvette C8 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE (2019) Chrysler ME Four Twelve Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat (2020) Dodge Viper SRT10 ACR (2008) Ford GTX1 (with parts from all 4 body kits of the 2006 Ford GT from NFS Carbpn as custmization options) Ford Shelby GT500KR (2008) (with parts from the 2013 Shelby GT500 Super Snake as customization options) Gumpert Apollo Enraged (with customization parts from Apollo N) Honda Prelude Type SH (2000) Honda Civic Type R (FK8) Hyundai Tiburon (2008) Hyundai Genesis Coupe (2013) Hyundai Veloster N (2020) Infiniti G35 Coupe (2006) Jaguar XKR-S (2012) (with customization parts from the XKR-S GT) Jaguar XFR-S (2015) Koenigsegg Jesko Koenigsegg Agera R (with customization parts from the One:1 and Agera RS). Performance/Sound Fixes/Adjustments: Boost grip and nerf drifting to the point where grip handling is faster than drift handling during a race, even when drifting provides faster nitrous refill. Nerf the acceleration and handling of the Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 2.8 by large amounts so that it will no longer be overpowered. Remove the hard speed limiter so that cars like the Koenigsegg Regera can hit their actual indicated top speeds instead of what happened in NFS Heat where it was indicated to have a top speed of over 250 MPH but was hard-locked at 246 MPH instead when actually tested. Change the stock engine sound of the McLaren F1 and the Aston Martin Vulcan to make them sound more like their real-world counterparts. Note: This is incomplete but it should provide a decent idea of what the community wants regarding the cars and customization in the next NFS title. submitted by /u/MrSturdinja [link] [comments] |

NFSU2 controller bug on PC Posted: 17 Jul 2020 06:22 PM PDT I play on PC with a cheap Dualshock 2 controller and it works with no problems. Everything works but the right analog. The Y axis doesn't even register in-game and the X axis acts like the Y axis in-game. For this reason, it is a pain in the ass to shift gears, since i have to bind it to the bumpers. But now i'm trying to fix this error and i can't find anything that remotely helps me. I tried binding in-game but, as i said, they don't even are registered. I tried using x360ce, but this one too doesn't work. I'm using the Widescreen Fix by ThirteenAG but it just fixes the left analog deadzone problems. I don't know if i'm doing anything wrong, but if it is my controller, than i'll buy another one, i just really don't it's necessary to buy a newer one just for one game. submitted by /u/odeckerd [link] [comments] |
