Posted: 24 Jul 2020 05:50 PM PDT Ok in Heat the spikes take an insane amount of damage. If you pop all 4 tires it takes half of your health. That's ridiculous. That means if you're at slightly less than half your health you wreck your car. It should be drastically reduced, having no tires is enough damage. Oh, and they shouldn't re-inflate either. That's dumb, it defeats the purpose of the spikes. Especially in Payback. On the rare occurrence you may encounter spikes and you do run over then, the just re-inflate a few seconds later so what is the point? They pose no threat. If you want it as an auxiliary part, fine, though I don't think this should be an option. It's just not realistic. And before you argue NFS isn't realistic, just look at the last games and how they were grounded in reality. In HP2 and MW 05, if you run over them you're screwed but in Carbon and Undercover you don't come to a complete stop but you still have a chance of escape. They don't re-inflate. That's the consequence of popping your tires. At lest they re-used this idea in 2015 but the cops were useless so it didn't really matter. if you don't want to lose your tires pay more attention and don't run over the spikes. And them totaling your car is just ridiculous. Maybe we could have puncture-proof tires as that's an actual thing. Now as for cops running over them they should also lose their tires. I know this has been done with all current gen games but I don't think it should ever be removed again. In MW, Carbon, and Undercover that feature was removed right after they introduced it in HP2. They even went through the effort to put on the radio chatter "stay left spikes on the right" but then all the cops drive to the right anyway to avoid the roadblock since they aren't affected. TL;DR spikes should do little to no damage, should not re-inflate, and cops should be affected by them as well. [link] [comments]

Is it worth playing nfs payback or nfs 2015? Posted: 24 Jul 2020 02:25 PM PDT I have been playing nfs heat and love it. I played nfs until the first most wanted came out. After that I haven't played any other titles. Just got back into it and so far heat has been decent to me. The problem is, when it comes to me and playing certain games, going backwards to older titles bothers me sometimes unless the game is really good. Usually because once I have seen newer graphics/played enough for some reason I feel like it can't be as good if I go to older titles (yes I know it's terrible). I regret not playing them first then playing heat. But I bought it because it showed up on my feed on PSN. would it be worth getting those games? [link] [comments]

Why does Ghost Games have a wet car fetish? Posted: 24 Jul 2020 12:04 PM PDT Every single one of their games have permanently wet cars. Looks cool in 2015 but makes absolutely no sense on every other game [link] [comments]

Do you think that Criterion Games should remaster Hot Pursuit (2010)? Posted: 24 Jul 2020 04:35 PM PDT NOTE: Criterion games has already replaced Ghost Games and it's in charge of developing future Need For Speed games until further notice from Electronic Arts. Criterion has delivered us previous NFS games such as Hot Pursuit (2010), The Run (developing with Black Box), Most Wanted (2012) and Rivals (Developing with Ghost Games). Electronic Art's latest Need For Speed game is Heat (2019) and it got some negative reviews throughout early 2020. The negative reviews are mostly about no PVP and the lack of updates. Ghost Games decided in mid-2020 that they'll stop supporting Need For Speed: Heat. [link] [comments]
