Reasons why the RSR is overpowered and how Ghost accidentally buffed it in Heat. Posted: 09 Aug 2020 11:23 AM PDT Weight: Suspension: Tires: Engine Displacement: Engines in Heat are balanced in a slightly different way from previous games, in which potential horsepower is based around the displacement of the engine itself. Compared to other vehicles of it's size, the RSR has a larger displacement at 2.8 liters and is capable of being built up to 763hp. The Beetle comes with a measly 1.3 liters of displacement and a max power of 386hp, whilst the Exige is 1.8 liters and maxes out at 535hp. With the original motor, this already puts the RSR at a power/weight advantage. However, Ghost took a misstep in balancing out the engine swaps. Instead of being based off of the size or weight of the original car, the available swaps seem to be based on the original displacement of the car. This means that the Beetle is only able to install engines of up to 2.5 liters, putting it at 630-700hp. The Exige can install engines up to 3.0l, putting it at 690-760hp. The RSR on the other-hand is able to install engines up to 4.0l in size, with the capability to go up to 930hp+. This gives the RSR a very strong power/weight ratio which, while not the best in the game by a long-shot, does exceed that of it's lightweight competitors. TL;DR: Ghost basically made the RSR overpowered by complete accident. [link] [comments]

Why can't I earn ultimate+ parts Posted: 09 Aug 2020 10:15 PM PDT Hello everyone, so I have a question. Why can't I earn ultimate+ parts on need for speed heat? I mean I've tried everything. I'm lvl 50, I've completed the main story, and I have all ultimate parts. For some reason now when I do high heat events, sometimes even 2 in one night, (one at heat 3 and another at heat 5) all I get is duplicate ultimate parts. It's really annoying and I'd like to finally be able to take my cars that one step higher. Is this a bug? Did I not do something? I'm all ears at this point. [link] [comments]

is NFS heat unoptimized on PC? Posted: 09 Aug 2020 08:43 PM PDT I own it on Origin and the game seems very blurry, like film grain or too much sharpening or something. It also lags terribly, down to 10 fps probably when im driving and im going really fast. it also goes down when im looking at some scenery. anyone else have this problem? gtx 1060 3 gb i5 8400 24 gb ram [link] [comments]

Posted: 09 Aug 2020 07:57 PM PDT Can't exactly tell which is it but it's like small freezes that occur when starting a race or at the begining of a cop chase or at the end of one It's really frsutrating So i was wondering if anyone has the same problem or if anyone has any fix [link] [comments]

Posted: 09 Aug 2020 07:07 PM PDT So any new updates towards that "leak"? I say leak very vaguely, wouldn't be surprised if it was confirmed considering it was one of Criterions best racing games. Only change I would make is just add the DLC cars in the base game and have online free roam. Other than that it's a very well established game if you are a fan of cop vs racer PVP type action. Posted: 09 Aug 2020 11:57 AM PDT What car in your opinion in normal race mode doesnt get enough love? For me its the S15, everyone talks about how good it is at drifting but its more than capable in normal race mode [link] [comments]
NFS Underground for Windows 10? Posted: 09 Aug 2020 05:14 PM PDT Hi, Does anyone know how I can play NFS underground on Windows 10? I took a shot of seeing if maybe they put on steam but its not on there. Any ideas? [link] [comments]
