    MW2005: Can I increase the distance it takes for cars to despawn?

    It's a little silly seeing cars disappear a relatively short distance up the road or cops despawn after reaching the edge of the minimap.

    Carbon, The most mysterious NFS and a wired sequels.

    NFS Carbon is one my childhood game along with Underground and Most Wanted 05. But many years later I play Carbon so many time other any NFS. Because I like the tone,dark and creepy. Canyon duels keep my heart pounding. And the mechanics called crews which can keep the race exciting. So shame that it was too short. Even the beta was much larger and better than the final version.

    The game was rushed and cut like hell because strict development cycle by EA. Such as roamable canyons, final races with Nikki after beating Darius or even the first ever bike introduced in NFS before Heat.

    But one question which likely never get the answer I ask is...

    Who decided Carbon to be a direct sequel for Most Wanted 05 ?

    Because 95% of community cried for Most Wanted 2, we know that Criterion was able to do a sequel we wanted for back then but EA become retard enough to cut the concept and made that game the Burnout Paradise with cops. That game was fun like the original in my opinion, but it can brainwashed some fans to hate Criterion with knowing that they have an outstanding job with Hot Pursuit 2010. The game that pay heritage and the spirit of NFS before Underground era. What I try to say is...EA was a complete fault and Criterion was the victim.

    If they tried to a sequels,it would not make sense because we have Carbon. Carbon in my opinion is 50/50 sequel and standalone game. Sequel with that how the player got the M3 GTR after we fled the city with Darius's Supra and later became the notorious racer in Rockport (Don't confused with UG story because they are completely different and Rog's word was like an Easter Egg) and Cross who is bounty hunter hunt down the player after what we did to him. And a standalone game which starting a new path for street racing lifestyle such as forming a crews and dominate the territory. But it somehow wired because this game was suppose to be called Underground 3 (which later become shaped with 2015 reboot)

    I would prefer that Carbon can be a standalone game without having the shadow of Most Wanted 05 but at that time, guessing that the popularity of MW can make Black Box's decision to please the fans by putting this to be direct sequel.

    Sorry for bad English, and I am ready to brace that some fanboys would flammed me for saying that MW12 is fun as MW05. Those guys never know what opinion is...

    How do NFS cops keep damaging you?

    So recently I began playing NFS Heat. It's pretty fun, but I sense that whenever you get even the slightest tap from the cops, even whenever you're the one slamming them in the side after they pull up beside you, that's them doing damage to you even you've got an SUV with a damage reduction so you can slam a truck at 100 km/h without taking too much damage.

    It'd be neat if the cops couldn't hurt you with how they glare when you tear up their paintwork, please ;-;

    Anyone else have loss of control when resuming from the pause menu during Hot Pursuit Remastered on Switch?

    This is really annoying and causes me to crash after I unpause the game. Sometimes I need to pause for whatever reason but I have so much anxiety that I end up not pausing the game at all. Anyone else experience this?

    The difficulty of Newhaven Circuit in NFS Payback

    I am a fan of the franchise and always will be. Recently I am on a spree of completing games and Need for Speed Payback has been on the top of that list. But the difficulty of the race called Newhaven Circuit in Chapter 5 is setting a precedent for how bad the suspension tuning is in the off-road cars. Granted most of you have completed the game but with even a Bel-Air or a defender, It handles terribly, whereas the other off-road races have more coverable paths and opportunities for shortcuts arise. I have tried every combination possible from softened suspension to handbrake drifts and even priority in braking speed cards and less speed on corner entry but it seems that this is a broken mess of a race. I request anyone in criterion to look into it even though I know you guys are developing the 2021 game in high priority. A small change to a game goes a long way and I hope you can fix this if possible.

    Can't access settings in Undercover

    Hello.

    I installed old NFS Undercover on Win10. The problem is that I can't access the main menu. I assume that it's done with backspace key and when I press it, nothing happens. However if I press M for online login, and then backspace to cancel it, it works. I also tried a different keyboard but with the same result. I probably tried all the keys but never got into settings/main menu.

    Am I trying the wrong key? Or is there a way to change the key for main menu?

    EA servers down?

    I got hot pursuit remaster for Christmas but I haven't been able to play online because it keeps on telling me it couldn't connect to EA servers. Is it just me?

    Note1-I am in England if that has anything to do with it.

    Note 2-offline mode works normally I have already finished all of the racer missions

    So i did every razor race and got do the final chase in need for speed most wanted 2005. But then i had to go and quit the game. When i was doing the chase i also didnt have the bmw m3 as my car...but the car i used for the races. Now when i come back it says i defeated him but there are no stars on the map and i dont have the bmw.

    Will the Freecam mod for the old nfs hot pursuit also works with the remastered version?

    I just finished the remastered version of nfs HP 2010, hella fun game. It has beautiful scenery from each sector you want to do freedrive mode, such as the insane loop corner, the forest, the desert that has long straights, the beach, etc. It would be great if there's a freecam mod. Fortunately there is, but that mod only showed a video from the old nfs HP 2010, not the remastered version. Would be great if someone knows that the mod can also be used in the remastered version. i love making some car cinematics for some games
