    NFS 2015 - Does nitro even work?

    I mean, I remember when I used to play Underground 2 and Most Wanted where my car would fly like a rocket when NOS was used, and on Carbon where I had even the bonus of drift with nitro on to not lose my speed. But NFS 2015, it has no nitro. It has a button that pushes cool flames from the exhaust and that's it. Meanwhile AI has no problem at all using nitro to pass me from far away and getting an even greater distance from me, with me unable to catch them because the nitro is not making its job and the blue line is not giving me speed. Is the point of the game to not use nitro and use your speed and car to tackle off opponents from passing you and win? Because that's what's been working for me so far. And no, I'm not unsatisfied with the game, just wondering whenether nitro works or not.
