I've been thinking about the locations of each Need for Speed title and where they belong in the US. Posted: 12 Oct 2020 08:52 PM PDT Ever since a few days ago about another guy who jokingly had a post of 4 Bugatti officers in Rivals and asked the question of where Rivals actually takes place and I've had this on my mind for the other games and their locations. State wise anyway. This is only for fun and I'm just guessing. Only Ventura Bay is confirmed to be in California and yeah you can say that Palm City is a given to be based off of Miami and the Everglades. Don't go to harshly on me. No one really knows what the locations really are. Olympic City: Eastern New York Bayview: Northern Ohio Rockport: Northern Illinois Palmont: West Virginia Tri-City: Southern Florida Seacrest County: Northern/Western California/Southern Oregon Fairhaven: Maryland Redview County: Northern/Western California/Southern Oregon Ventura Bay: California (Confirmed) Fortune Valley: Nevada Palm City: Southern Florida Blackridge (No Limits): Southern Michigan [link] [comments]

Posted: 12 Oct 2020 10:33 PM PDT Correct me if I'm wrong, but it appears that the speed cards are locked to the car you earn them with?Assuming this is the case, here's how I have had to play the game: Buy starter Buick for regular races. Got it to lvl 240ish, eventually get bored with it and tired of looking at it. At that point the best cars I can buy is a stock lvl 200. Now I have to buy upgrades/grind races I've already done just to get that car up to 250 so I can continue the story. "Grinding Races" turns into me doing the same 2min sprint 10x in a row. And guess what? My new M3 BMW doesnt feel any different than the Buick bc there are no car specific differences at all. There isn't a difference in handling between a F150 Raptor and a Lotus. No handling attribute...but theres a jump and hang time attribute yet jumps rarely occur in races and you don't even need good ratings to get distance for the stars, just speed. Just dumb all the way around. .Ik it's an arcade racer but they should have tiered the cars/races rather than letting you get any car to max lvl. Aside from asthetics/preference there is no incentive to buy a new car. I don't even mind the lootbox style upgrading, but you should be able to use your cards on the same type of car at least. They are "cards" after all. [link] [comments]

Everyone, please, set Post Processing to LOW on Heat Posted: 12 Oct 2020 07:51 PM PDT Setting Post Processing to low removes the fuzzy or blurry look to just about everything and makes everything SO much sharper, cleaner, and easier on your PC. None of this applies to consoles of course. P.S. 200% res scale and TAA helps too, just make sure you have something close to an RX 5700XT and a 3700X or 5800X that can handle it. [link] [comments] |
