    Traffic cars make me mad

    At first looking at the traffic cars there's nothing offensive about them, the vehicle selection is fine although a bit repetitive, looking at real traffic you won't see a whole pack of the same few cars, but it's not a big deal. The models look fine, everything about them is fine, but here's what's not fine: EA paid for the licensing for the vehicles, they modeled the vehicles, and yet they STILL WON'T LET YOU DRIVE THEM! pretty much the only thing they'd have to do is put them in the dealership and add a handling model to them, and if they don't want to make another handling model (which shouldn't be that hard, as each car's handling is pretty similar so they're just changing the stats), they could just copy another car's handling model. If they don't want to add customization parts for those cars, that would be fine, I just want to have the option to drive them. The models aren't quite as detailed as the in game cars, but they're not bad enough that I'd mind. I know a Dodge Caliber isn't a typical choice for a racecar, but maybe I like sleepers. I just find it infuriating knowing that everyone else in this city has the right to buy a Dodge caliber, Ford F150(not the raptor version), Infinity whatever it is, lower end BMW, Chevy van, or box truck, (ok, the box truck kinda makes sense, that giant hitbox would get in the way and be very annoying online) but for some reason I don't. Why the hell not? it's kinda like this:

    Me: you paid for the licensing on these cars.

    EA: yes.

    Me: you modeled these cars.

    EA: yes.

    Me: you already have a car handling model because this is a racing game.

    EA: yes.

    Me: So it should be extremely easy to make them playable.

    EA: makes sense to me.

    Me: so can I drive them?

    EA: NO.

    Why do we never have cockpit view again?

    I used to be a big fan of NFS till they removed cockpit/driver seat view, to me, it's like taking the most immersive simulation part away from the game. The view behind the car - no matter how great the graphic is - feels so arcade. I think this might be a unique problem for me, for the past 20 years, I stopped buying any NFS title simply because of this

    There must be a reason, I am very curious, why we never have cockpit/driver seat view again for any of the NFS title?

    mw2005 crashing consistently upon escaping pursuits

    for whatever reason as im completing the milestones for blacklist 2, whenever i escape the pursuit the game immediately crashes right before the end stats screen comes up. up to this point its only crashed once - much earlier in the game, and after a very short pursuit oddly enough. but this happens every time now

    its not the common "pure virtual function call" error from roadblocks - i have mwfixes installed and regardless this occurs at different times, literally the moment cooldown finishes it just exits out with a generic "speed.exe has stopped working" message

    aside from aforementioned mwfixes im also running the widescreen fix and extra options, as well as one (1) added car (240sx from carbon) which im not sure would affect anything but for the purpose of diagnostics im mentioning anyway. im not really sure what to do about it aside from asking here or continuing to blow 10+ minutes at a time hoping maybe it wont crash THIS time, since i couldnt find any useful results abt this particular crash!

    How does car rating go up if using drift parts?

    Need for Speed Heat always causes a signal loss when launched on my LG C9 tv.

    Wondering if anyone else has run into a similar issue. Every time I launch the game, the screen turns black and then I get the signal loss screen on my LG C9 4K tv. I'm using a gaming PC with an RTX 3080 connected with a zeskit ultra high speed cable (officially certified by HDMI committee).

    I don't use HDR as that was a broken feature which conflicted with LG TVs and this issue only occurs in full screen mode. Not sure why that is, NFS Heat is the only game that does it. Everything else works just fine in fullscreen and with HDR. '

    If anyone has found a way to fix this, I'd appreciate the info.

    I've never played a need for speed game before and I wanna get one since they're on sale on steam. I really enjoy playing the forza horizion games so I'm looking for something similar to that.
