    I used to be racing in Automatic for a long time so i've decided to swtich to Manual, Shifting is kinda easy for me but racing online with it wasn't easy at all not like back when i used to be in auto... So i came here with a question, Is Manual Transmission any better than Automatic in Races?

    About the motion capture and NFS

    y'all have been speculating and looking at stuff about the dances due to a recent image and video of a person stating that he was working on motion capture for a Need for Speed game. what i can tell you is that the game that he was working on is Need for Speed Heat, as he specifically mentions in the caption that some people may remember that he was at EA.

    looking backward in his Instagram, he did post that he was at EA back in August 26, 2018. this further supports that the motion capture work he did was for Heat, (as we all know the game came out in November 2019) and some of the things he mentioned might've been cut from the game. remember, there are additional bikes other than Torres' BMW S1000RR hidden in the game files, fully modelled with their own entries. there are also instances (at least in the trailers) where characters dance, particularly in the launch trailer.

    he also responded to a comment asking when the game comes out. he stated that the game should be out already.

    the video he showed further supports this. look at all the people - not one person is wearing a face mask or a face shield. in the middle of a global pandemic, safety measures would've been in place at the studio, and everyone other than the people who are doing the capture should be wearing some sort of protection to reduce the virus spread.

    it's fun to jump into conclusions and immediately deduce that it's content for the next Need for Speed game, but look further and see that it was really for the one we already have. but hey, at least people won't be freaking out that Fortnite emotes will be coming to the next game.

    Now this is the best 400+ track race car I have in my garage right now. The Evo IX is such an easy car to drive compared to some of the other cars in the 400+ class. The design is based of of the Evo 8 Greddy Performance.

    I just recently got ea play on pc but I'm no rookie to the need for speed series. I've lurked around this subreddit for a while now and I see a lot of people either say rivals was meh or just have never tried it and this pains me. Despite popular belief MW was a blast back in the day. What made mw enjoyable was just the pure fun. There was no spending 40 minutes getting the right tune. It was just picking a car and flying through the streets with the cops on you. Don't get me wrong I'm all for the tuner style of heat and upgrading/tuning cars is a fun progression but to me nothing beats hopping in an open world and starting a high speed chase. In heat the cops are on your ass which is fun yeah but it can get kind of annoying. I can confidently say nothing beats rivals in the raw adrenaline of the chase.

    Rivals nails speed. Cops are hella aggressive and I'm white knuckling rt the whole time. The map is pretty straight and wide open, really complimenting the high speed pursuit style of the game. Hot pursuit was fun but rivals just does speed better. The handling is pretty easy and the gadgets are fun. The cops are always a threat without making escaping a pain like in heat. In rivals its all about evading police hits and hitting them back. Rivals is thrilling and I'm here to make a case that you should play it. Yeah the progression may be lack luster and there's not really a tuning system but it's just a fun game.

    Rivals is more focused on creating a enjoyable experience rather than a accurate one. Just go into rivals with an open mind. Plus chances are you have ea access and rivals is free so just give it a shot you'll be pleasantly surprised!
